Sit "N" Bull History
Known as the "New Memphis House" in 1856
The house was built approximately in the 1820's though there is no record of an exact date.
In the 1800's the house was a saloon/watering hole/rest stop/ for weary travelers on the trail heading towards St. Louis.

The house remained a saloon through out most of the 1900's.
Eventually a new saloon was built next to the old saloon building and the old saloon was turned into a house connected by a hallway to the new saloon which is now the Sit "N" Bull.
